Joseph Foley

CEO &
Co-founder

Joe is a certified expert in communications network architecture who spent 15 years in the industry focusing on high-reliability, often life-critical network designs for carriers specializing in some of the most demanding global customers. Joe has been following developments in AI and machine learning closely since studying for his first masters' degree in 2010-2011 with a capstone project on time-series prediction with a neural network that looks quite primitive compared with today's models. He retired from networking at the end of 2021 as the winds were shifting in the satellite network communications industry, and took the opportunity to return his focus to AI. Joe went back to school to update his knowledge with the goal of diving back into the industry when the time and the opportunity was right. The partnership with Jim and Alex and the innovation of Modular Thought have made that opportunity.
